Oh hi blog. Nice to see you again.

A lot has been going on. Yep that’s my excuse for neglecting my blog life and exercise life and if I had had a social life when this all began, I’m sure that would be on the chopping block as well.

So here’s a bunch of good news in list form with a few pictures.

I got to go to Georgia a week and a half ago 🙂 I gave my niece Lucie some kisses and let her know how excited I am to meet her.

My dear friend Katie got married. We’ve been kindred spirits since we met when we were 3 years old, and seeing her marry her prince charming could not have made my heart happier. I love her.

What made that night even more special was that my whole family was in the SAME ROOM for the first time in…I can’t even remember actually. My parents, sister, brother in law, brother, grandma, and husband. What a good looking group of relatives.

Mister Cody and I celebrated 3 years of marriage yesterday! He bought me beautiful things from Anthropologie that he knows I would never splurge on myself, and I love him for that and 1000000 other reasons. I’m so glad I married Joshua Paul Cody and I thank God all the time for the joy and adventure and peace he brings to my life. I LOVE HIM!

 

More good news…

I got a job 🙂  A couple weeks ago I began nannying full time for a sweet family here in Austin. Their little boy is 18 months old, and we’re having so much fun together. Financially, this was a huge answered prayer. I’m so grateful for how God worked this out. 

As far as churches go, we’re still praying about where God wants us. I’m 100% ready to find a church family and build strong relationships and I hope every day that the Lord has a wonderful home for us that He’s picked out.

Well, I chased a toddler around in the 105 degree heat all day, so that’s all the energy I have tonight. Love to all you guys, thanks for being my friend!
