We’re IN!

So that had to be the most stressful move ever!

Okay, maybe it doesn’t trump moving across the country a year ago, but it was still overwhelming.

It took us a lot longer than we had hoped, but after a few long (and VERY hot) days, we finally had all our boxes and furniture into the house. We’re both loving this place so much that it’s pretty sad to think that we’ll have to move out one day.

I’ve enjoyed dabbling in gardening since we moved in. Some previous tenants put some raised beds in the backyard and left the soil in awesome condition. Hopefully in a couple weeks we’ll have some peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and herbs to enjoy. Something else we’re looking forward to is taking home our sweet little puppy on August 17th! He’s about 4 weeks old right now, and is one of 11 pups in his litter of german shorthaired pointers. I even had a dream about the little guy last night…I’m SOO excited to have a snuggly little guy to take to the park with me.

Besides being sick on occasion, the month of July has been really wonderful and our new neighborhood is finally starting to feel like home.

This weekend is mine and Josh’s 2 year wedding anniversary. He’s taking me to a cabin in Bend, Oregon and I’m pretty excited to finally see the city I’ve heard so much about. I love my husband so much and feel like the luckiest lady in the world to be married to someone like him.

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ALMOST AUGUST!! Where did the Summer go?
