Autumn Bliss

WOW Fall is here. And unlike in some parts of the world, Portland actually HAS this season.

The weather has been mild, for the most part, and the leaves are amazing. I’m also enjoying every last minute of sunshine I can before the 8 months straight of rain comes and sucks the fun out of life. We’ve still been doing quite a bit of exploring in our spare time. I miraculously had 2 days off of work in a row, so we bit the bullet and made the 5 hour trip north to Canada for a night. I’m so glad we did, considering it became Josh’s new favorite city, and we got to enjoy it on probably the last cloudless day of the year.

Josh has really become quite the photographer...but I still manage to stick my face into some of his pictures and ruin them. Sorry Boo!

Oh and did I mention that right by the Washington/Canada, there is a CHICK-FIL-A?! We were two happy Georgians that day.

We’ve also been enjoying where we live. About 15 minutes from our house there is a park called Mount Tabor, and Josh and I went hiking around a few days ago and shot some cool pictures of the Portland skyline and Mount Hood. Here’s a picture of the mountain, and yes, be jealous that we get to see this beaut every day.

God’s been blessing us so much with friends and work and joy…We are just overflowing. Although I won’t lie about getting quite homesick from time to time. I’m so grateful for the influence He’s giving us and the support He’s placed in our lives, and how much He’s teaching us. Thank you thank you thank you Jesus!

Missing all you Georgia folks and loving getting to know you Portlanders šŸ™‚

CHICK-FIL-A AGAIN IN T-MINUS-11 DAYS!!!
